Well, I made it through another Knife Expo.. I'll tell you, 3 days behind the table is a long time and is very exhausting. 

I want to thank those kind folks that purchased knives from me.  I truly appreciate your support.  I also want to thank everyone who purchased custom/handmade knives this weekend.  Many of us makers do this because we have a passion for high quality and high performance one of a kind knives and your support helps us to purchase new tools and supplies so we can keep growing in our craft.   

I entered a knife this year for judging in the Best Hand Forged class and won a nice award.  Here is a link to a Picture of the knife .

Well, its crunch time.. Knife expo is a couple weeks away and I am frantically trying to get some knives completed in time.. I hope to show up with 6-8 knives..  Expect some nice bowies on the table.  If you make it to the show please stop by and introduce yourself.  Official show information can be found at http://www.scblades.com.

Are you interested in making knives?  Are you located in California?  If you answered yes to these questions check out the California Knifemakers Association.  The club consists of a great bunch of people who meet regularly at each others shops to share ideas and get valuable feedback on fit and finish.

I will be showing/selling available knives as well as taking custom orders at the California Knifemakers Knife Show on April 21, 2007 at the Brea Community Center.  Unlike most knife shows in Southern California, this one is hosted by the California Knifemakers Association (http://www.calknives.org) and will feature custom knives exclusively.  Please stop by and say hello.

I will be showing and selling knives at the Knife Expo on February 23, 24, 25, 2007.    I should have a good group of knives for show and sell.. Expect to see hunters and bowies.. maybe a couple utility's..

I will be at R&J Cutlery in Victorville, CA for their 20th Anniversary party on Nov. 4, 2006 showing and selling of my knives.. I will be working diligently until then to try and get some nice pieces ready.. Expect to see some bowies and hunters..

There will be other talented knifemakers attending as well such as Red St. Cyr, Bill Herndon, KC Lund and more.  Come out and see some find hand crafted knives from some of Southern California's best knifemakers.
