Here is a little slow motion video of me practicing for the 2006 ABS California Clinic's Cutting Competition.  The knife is a ABS regulation knife that I specifically made to compete with.  The knife has a 10" blade of 5160 high carbon steel. The blade has a hidden tang and the handle measures 5".  The blade has a slight bolo style to it with a max width of just under 2".  Although light in the hand this style chops very good and makes quick work of saplings and 2x4s.
